Stellar
by Zizipho Poswa
Stellar is the newest Indigenus collection, developed with South African ceramic artist Zizipho Poswa. Its calabash form draws on the vessels that appear in cultures across the world, and for Poswa it is a return to African roots.
The hand worked, textured surface carries the mark of the maker, while the form has been engineered so it can be cast repeatedly in stone at a consistent quality. Five sizes, from the tall 1300 mm vessel to the compact midi, work alone or as a group.
