Partners and certifications

Our partners

The organisations we deliver with, and the credentials that evidence our Indigenous ownership.

Who we work with

Each partner covers a stage of the furniture lifecycle, from supply and installation through to reuse and recycling.

  • Supply and installation partner

Binowee's supply partner and 29 per cent shareholder, providing warehousing, installation crews and project management from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

  • Recycling partner

Arranges the logistics and collection of furniture and materials for recycling, so what cannot be reused is recovered rather than landfilled. Envirobank was founded and is led by Narelle Anderson.

  • Furniture rescued for reuse at the Relove warehouse

    Reuse partner

Rescues furniture that is still fit for use and redistributes it to families in crisis, so serviceable pieces from a relocation or refurbishment go into homes.

Envirobank

Envirobank is Binowee Group's recycling partner, and the relationship is not arm's length. Narelle Anderson, our Founder and Director, is also the Founder and Managing Director of Envirobank. The same leadership that owns Binowee built and runs the recovery business, which is why our circular economy offer is operational rather than aspirational.

Envirobank is an Indigenous owned recycling business operating across state container deposit schemes and is a member of Kinaway, Supply Nation and the NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce. Its collection network recovers refundable beverage containers so the material re-enters manufacture rather than going to landfill.

What this means on a project

  • Furniture take-back and workplace container recovery can be set up together and reported under the one arrangement
  • Recovery outcomes come from an operator we are accountable to, not a third party quoting on our behalf
  • Indigenous business spend and diverted volume are both recorded against the same engagement

See circular economy services for how a program is scoped.

Product certification

Certification varies by product and is stated on each product page rather than claimed across the catalogue. Where a range carries independent furniture certification, the scheme is named on the product page. Where we hold a test report or certificate for a specific model, we will provide it on request for a tender or specification.
