Indigenus Steen planters

Stefan Antoni and Greg Truen of architecture practice SAOTA looked to the Cape Town coastline, where granite boulders sit among the fynbos of the Cape Floral Kingdom. Steen is Afrikaans for stone.

The low, angular bowls echo those rock formations and suit succulents and groundcover planting. They work on podiums, terraces and in lobbies where a tall planter would interrupt sight lines.
